Principal's Message

Welcome to Castle Rock Elementary School!

Our goal is to be a school that nurtures students to become global leaders of tomorrow by “Learning Today…Leading Tomorrow.”  Our belief is that all children must be supported and challenged to develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.  At Castle Rock our efforts are to empower this growth and continued development.

Castle Rock is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school since 2006, for each of our students enrolled in all grades TK-5.  Our students are given opportunities for student growth from the IB Units of Inquiry in oral, written and visual communication.  Teachers incorporate the IB Primary Years Programme and across all subject areas.  The goal is to construct meaningful teaching using the trans disciplinary skills of communication, research, thinking and self-management.

We will continue to focus on global learners who possess 21st century skills and continue emphasis on STEAM education as well.  We thank our learning community for their ongoing support and partnerships that will result in lasting success for all our students.
